Coral Reef Innovation Hub is dedicated to transforming education in Africa through technology. With a focus on providing students with the skills necessary for the jobs of the future, we are committed to empowering teachers, facilitators, and service providers with the tools and training needed to deliver world-class education.
To achieve its mission, Coral Reef is building digital labs equipped with state-of the-art technology in educational centers throughout Ghana,
including Nkoranza, Akropong Salem JHS, Akropong Presby JHS, Kukurantumi RC School, Kyebi State MA School, Charles Wesley Academy. The company is also providing training to 1400 public school teachers through its “Teacher 4.0” program and deploying its solutions to 700 public schools.
In addition to its efforts in the public sector, Coral Reef is also working with 40 private schools on an Education 4.0 Proof of Concept. The company has also partnered with The National Spelling Bee to bring its innovative solutions to the Deaf & Dumb Institute.

Our Background
Coral Reef Innovation Hub was founded to revolutionise
education in Ghana. Initially, the focus was on installing smart labs, but it quickly
became clear that simply installing hardware was not enough. The curriculum
had to change, and so the company evolved to embrace the Education 4.0
paradigm.
It was soon realized that the teachers at the center of the solution were not
equipped to deliver the new curriculum, leading to the creation of the Teacher
4.0 model. Through immersion exercises, it became apparent that the Board of
Governors had little understanding of the strategic direction of the schools they
managed and whether they were positioned to produce students with future-proof
skills. In response, the company designed the Boardroom 4.0 solution.
Realizing that parents, who ultimately pay for the education services, were not
sure what exactly they were paying for, the company created PTA 4.0.
Coral Reef Innovation Hub’s unique selling point is its curated Education 4.0
content, which empowers students to be prepared for the future of work in the
Industry 4.0 paradigm. The company is not simply selling devices butÂ
offering a complete solution that changes lives.
